This exclusive, ‘Illuminated River’ after-dark experience gives you the chance to watch the Thames transform before your eyes and Thames Rockets are pulling out all the stops for an awe-inspiring evening full of astonishing architecture, stunning sights and a healthy dose of high-speed fun! Cue the moonlight, turn up the magic and LOOK UP from your faster than light speedboat with a complimentary drink in hand. 

Departing from FESTIVAL PIER on the iconic South Bank step aboard a #1 Thames Rockets speedboat and settle in for the show. As the sun sets over the iconic skyline take in the view with your family, friends and loved ones, ticking off each iconic bridge as you cruise below.

Get ready as we take you on an EXTENDED speedboat blast all the way to the O2 and back. Twist and turn at the speed of light with a bespoke music medley to set the mood as London lights up just for you.

And that's just the warmup act! Once back to Tower Bridge it’s time for the main event as the ‘Illuminated River’ spectacular begins. Designed by New York-based artist Leo Villareal look up in awe as nine bridges from Tower Bridge to Lambeth Bridge display a beautiful shimmering sequence of LED lights inspired by the spirit and ancient history of the river.

Our unrivalled Thames Rockets guides will be on hand with patter as bright as the bridges taking you through each and every Instagrammable moment. Not only that, but they’ll serve up a cocktail in your own souvenir Thames Rockets cup to keep you glowing every sip of the way.
