New Year, New Adventures!

Here we are two weeks into 2018 already! Doesn’t time fly when you’re zooming up and down the Thames…?

We had a fantastic New Year’s Eve spectacular, getting up close to the most famous fireworks in the world at the London Eye. Four sold out boats of festive passengers enjoyed a 30 minute speedboat blast before sipping champagne as Big Ben brought in the new year.

Already 2018 has brought us the Lumiere Festival in London. A fantastic light spectacular that shone for four nights from Thursday 18th – Sun 21st. All over London were fantastic displays and installations from the Southbank to Canary Wharf to the West End – check out Westminster Abbey!

Thames Rockets got in on the action with a special series of sold out ‘after dark’ experiences, followed by a themed dining experience at the Mondrian Hotel (which happens to be one of the installations!). Our Assistant Manager Mike couldn’t resist and snuck along for some of the amazing food from the special Lumiere menu!

Believe it or not Valentine’s Day is now just around the corner. London offers a wealth of choice for romantic dinners but why not try something a little different this year? Our Rocket Rush Valentine’s special is guaranteed to whip up your loved one this Valentine’s week. Your guide will play Cupid, we’ll set your hearts racing at 30 knots and there’s even a date night goody bag for every couple.

Of course, a healthy helping of romantic classics will accompany you and your loved one every step of the way.

If all that wasn’t enough – our Mother’s Day Dash is back on Sunday 11th March 2018 – treat Mum to something she really wants – a 30 knot blast down London’s famous waterway! More details coming soon!
