We were delighted to help British adventurer Sarah Outen, this week, providing a filming and safety vessel for the grand finale of her London2London expedition.
Sarah Outen set out from Tower Bridge in April 2011, with a goal to row, bike and kayak around the northern hemisphere, inspiring children and fundraising for charities in the process.
During her time at sea Sarah overcame great obstacles, enduring extreme conditions in remote environments. She beat a typhoon on the North Pacific, was rescued from a rowing boat in the middle of the ocean and encountered a hurricane in the Atlantic, forcing an evacuation after 143 days at the sea.
Sarah has also kayaked some of the most treacherous waterways in the world and cycled across North America during one of the harshest winters on record.
Following her 4.5-year expedition, where she travelled 25,000 miles, Sarah returned home this week. For the last part of her journey Sarah cycled and kayaked from Falmouth to London.
At midday on 3rd November she paddled under Tower Bridge, completing her journey. And we were there to help her capture all those precious moments, broadcasting them to the world!
Congratulations Sarah - an amazing feat!
