Immersive Ensemble: The Drop Off

  Thames Rockets are very excited to be playing a small, but rather thrilling, part of one of the most exciting new shows to hit London. Season One - €˜The Drop Off' Immersive theatre is set to conquer its biggest setting yet with over nine million extras, as audience members become the lead role in the newest and most exclusive immersive experience in London. An exciting company has emerged. €˜The Immersive Ensemble' are a group of performers and directors with extensive experience in creating some of the most popular immersive shows of recent years have joined forces to create a new, thrilling event that puts audiences members directly at the heart of the story. The company premieres their first show €˜The Drop Off' in September this year, all set to take place on immersive theatres largest ever set, London itself.  €˜The Drop Off' casts audience members as private detectives charged with tracking down an elusive crook by a mysterious client within a ninety minute deadline. The experience, taking inspiration from British stalwarts such as James Bond and Sherlock Holmes, gives ticket holders the starring role as they move through London pursuing leads, visiting iconic and authentic locations and interacting with highly experienced immersive theatre actors both face to face and through phone calls and messages.  Audiences travel around the city by land, by rail, by river as well as enjoying a drink or two in fantastic surroundings, all of which is included in their ticket price.  The mission takes audiences to exiting and luxurious settings in the city playing out a narrative that moves into unknown dangerous territory before embarking on a high octane escape provided by in partnership with London's #1 attraction. In order to ensure each audience member gets the most premium experience possible, only twelve tickets are available for each performance.  Audiences investigate in teams of four alongside an expert actor, ensuring this show will be a genuinely exclusive and brand new experience for theatre goers.  The small audience numbers ensure each ticket holder truly feels like the main role in a unique and intimate show putting them centre stage in their own €˜real time' thriller, surrounded by thousands of Londoners, unknowingly playing extras in a production that blurs the lines between reality and fiction.
