Fun in the London Sun!

It's been a busy few weeks here at Rocket HQ! With some of the very best weather we can remember for a while, we have been out in super-speedy style doing what we do best - delivering #1 speedboat sightseeing adventures for everyone! Our proudest moment of recent weeks was scooping the 2017 Visit England award for a Family Friendly Attraction, presented to us by Sue Perkins, at the Visit Britain Awards for Excellence. We love what we do so to be acknowledged in the industry amongst other attractions was simply humbling. Another proud feather in the Thames Rockets ever growing cap! Our Father's Day Dash took off on Sunday 18^th June, bringing Dads, Pops, Fathers, Gramps, Grandads and Pa's alike a ride to remember! With tunes to get even the strictest of Dads to groove along to, our 'Fathers Day Dash' was a sell-out smash hit. With back to back sailings throughout the day, we gave Dads the treat they deserve. Following the events at London Bridge, Thames Rockets were approached by London and Partners and the British Red Cross to take part in an initiative to help support all those affected. It did not take much persuasion to sign up and for one day we rebranded our most popular experience 'The Ultimate London Adventure' to 'The United London Adventure', in support of uniting one and all and to show solidarity. Businesses across London took part, and Thames Rockets profits from the day were donated to this fantastic initiative. London is and remains very much open, and we could not be prouder. As well as all of this, Britain has seen sweltering temperatures and wall to wall blue skies - perfect speedboat weather! The bookings have been coming in thick and fast, and we've had such a great time whizzing you all around in conditions to match the Mediterranean, and some of our crew's tan-lines are a sight to behold!
