Skipper of the Month: Ian George

If there's one thing that really sets London RIB Voyages apart it's our team, and this month it's Skipper Ian George's turn to shine - he's our skipper of the month!

All of our skippers are talented, committed and loyal, but lately Ian has really stood out. He's always coming up with ways to improve our business, and he's more than happy to give up his time to help out with our adrenaline-fuelled adventures! This man's a true professional. He's incredibly attentive to each and every one of our passengers, who are of course our top priority, but he's also a wonderful colleague to all and a real pleasure to work with.

Many of our skippers join us following service with the Wapping River Police, they're a very skilled and very trustworthy bunch, you see. And Ian's one of them. He retired from the police last year and has been with us ever since. We'll never let him retire from London RIB Voyages, but we haven't told him that yet. Ian is also arranging further (money can't buy) emergency training for all of our crew with Wapping Police station in the coming weeks, and has selflessly given up his time to help all of our crew through their RYA2s (that's the RYA Powerboating level 2 qualification) - a wonderful mentor, teacher and skipper!
