Totally Thames

This month's Totally Thames Festival brings the river to life with a month-long season of river-related events: art, music, open days, family fun, talks, walks and boats galore. We're proud partners of Totally Thames. As part of the festival, we've been running a €˜Totally Thames Blast'. Having stepped aboard our super-shiny €˜Rockets' at St Katharine Pier in the shadow of London's iconic Tower Bridge, our guests have enjoyed hair-raising adventures on the river as we revved up our 615 horsepower engines. The 15-minute trips showed guests how far we've come in 2,000 years. With music pumping from the speakers we've twisted and turned at speeds of 30 knots - that's 35mph! If you haven't yet had a chance to explore Totally Thames, there are still plenty of opportunities to get on and into the water before the festival ends, from paddle steamers to paddle boarding, cruising on a Tall Ship to wild swimming. Beside the river, there's mudlarking on the foreshore and an open day at Tower Beach. Chances to get active include fishing, kayaking and boat trips at Tidefest.
