Forget Paris; London is the perfect place to plan a bit of romance! If you're thinking of popping the question sometime soon, we've got ten brilliant spots to suggest. Just don't forget the ring!   London RIB Voyages Looking for a romantic trip that'll get a special someone's heart racing? Our boat trips are the perfect way to take your partner's breath away; we've seen a fair few engagements in our time. Our most recent romantic tale happened on 11^th September 2015 - Congratulations to Ben and Carly, who got engaged as they enjoyed the sights of the capital from the water. We can't promise our crew won't be in floods of tears, though...   The View from the Shard You don't get much more romantic than incredible views of London, stretching for miles. The View from the Shard is London's highest viewing platform, at the top of Western Europe's tallest building. Pop the question with a stunning backdrop of the capital, and then head to the bar to raise a toast!   Parliament Hill If you can wake your beloved at 5am, head to Parliament Hill for a sunrise proposal, set against a beautiful backdrop of London.     Victoria Tower Gardens Of course we're big fans of any proposals involving the Thames! The park benches at Victoria Tower Gardens offer a street level view, but a very impressive one. This is one of our favourite romantic spots in the capital.     The Palm House at Kew Gardens The Palm House is regarded as one of the most important surviving Victorian glass structures, with lush, fruitful tropical plants all year round. Take a stroll around the stunning gardens and love will surely blossom!     The Globe Romeo and Juliet is amongst the best-known love stories out there, so London's Shakespearian theatre makes a fabulous setting for your own modem day love story.     Frank's Bar Frank's Bar, on top of a car park in Peckham, is one of London's most popular bars rooftop bars during the summer months, but head there in the winter and it'll be deserted, so you can enjoy expansive views with your beloved. The downside? You will have to tell people you proposed in a car park!     Brockwell Park Pack a picnic and head to Brockwell Park; it's much quieter than Primrose Hill so you'll be alone for that special moment.     Greenwich Observatory The plus side of this proposal spot is that you'll always know the exact time you promised to spend the rest of your lives together. Now if that's not romantic we don't know what is!     The Electric Cinema Portobello If you're looking to do things a little differently, take inspiration from big screen romance and have the question appear on the big screen at the cinema.
