Our Festival Weekender

Ahoy there! With the back-to-school/back-to-work/post-summer blues looming this time of year, console yourselves with the fact that there is still loads of fun to be had on and off the river for the rest of 2017! Summer is a time for festivals, and we've recently had a blast at our very own one. The Classic Boat Festival at St Katharine Dock over the weekend of the 8th, 9th and 10th September was another hit for London's only marina. There was a lack of mud, there was a little rain, there was plenty of live music and more flags than even Glastonbury could muster! It looks like you enjoyed our Instagram stories over the weekend - hundreds and hundreds of you checked out our photos and videos on the app. For the three days in September we set up shop over at our second home near St Katharine Pier from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th, alongside a host of other local businesses including: Salut! (Beer and Bubbles), Arthur Beale, Cascada (Accessories), Emi & Ben (Natural Skincare), Freddie's Flowers,  Piccadilly Whip (Ice Cream), London Fire, Hubbub,  Smiley Tigers (Kids Face painting), Sharky & George and MooCanoes. We love these events as it is a great chance to meet friends old and new, talk speedboats and offer those of you wanting to take a trip with us a few goodies, treats and coupons. The Docks this year were chock-a-block (or should that be chock-a-dock!) with a fantastic range and array of pristine yachts, sailing boats, tug boats and vintage motorboats and launches. A special highlight was the presence of the Dunkirk Little Ships - al in all the event attracted over 40 amazing vessels. Here are a selection of our favourite pictures from the weekend...
