Bond Spotted on the Thames

James Bond fans have been treated to a sneak peek behind the scenes of filming of this year's new film, Spectre.   yqsfzfy4cg8x9ciukdqe   Bond has been spotted performing stunts on the Thames on a few occasions in recent months, with some bridges temporarily closed to the public as film crew warned pedestrians from getting too close to the action. Members of the production told bystanders Daniel Craig would be taking part in a scene filmed on a speedboat.   In June Daniel Craig was treated to a day off as his Bond stunt double performed a high-speed chase along the river. The 47-year-old actor's doppelgänger was also joined by a lookalike for Léa Seydoux's character as they zoomed along on a speedboat. Low flying helicopters even joined in the race, and were seen hovering around the Houses of Parliament.   Bystanders on Millennium Bridge caught a glimpse of Naomie Harris too; she was dressed as M's secretary Miss Moneypenny. Those who spotted her say she appeared to be on an important mission! M herself is a big fan of London RIB Voyages - in 2013 we were hugely excited to receive a surprise visit from legendary actress Dame Judi Dench, who was welcomed aboard at our London Eye pier. Read all about her trip here.   dame-judi-dench-copy   Daniel Craig returns to the big screen this year, playing Bond for the fourth time. Other cast members include Sherlock's Andrew Scott, who will play a Whitehall-based character called Denbigh, and Guardians of the Galaxy actor Dave Bautista, playing a henchman called Mr Hinx. Italian actress Monica Bellucci and France's Lea Seydoux have been unveiled as the new 'Bond girls', Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann. Spectre - Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion - was the name of an international crime syndicate. Filming is based at Pinewood Studios and filmed on location in London, Mexico City, Rome and Tangier and Erfoud, in Morocco, but of course we think the scenes filmed on the Thames will be by far the most exciting!   The film will be released on 6th November 2015, so keep your eyes peeled for some incredible stunts in the heart of London when you head to the cinema!   If you fancy trying some thrill seeking of your own on the Thames book your ticket for a trip on London RIB Voyages here. We think Bond would love it!
